今天的多益專欄我們要來認識【in order to】的句型

"in order to + 原形V" 通常用來表達「為了 .... (目的)」的意思，可以放在句首或是句中。

TOEIC考試中最常見的用法為：

（1）in order to + 原形V

→可以直接省略為【不定詞to V】。但in order to 是較為正式的表達。

📌In order to save more money, Richard started working a part-time job on the weekends.

→To save more money, Richard started working a part-time job on the weekends.
⭐Richard為了要存更多錢，他週末開始打工。

（2）in order that + 子句

→也可以用so that 代替，in order that是較正式的表達。

📌Jenna went to bed early in order that she'd feel fully rested for her big presentation the following day.

→Jenna went to bed early so that she'd feel fully rested for her big presentation the following day.
⭐Jenna很早睡，為了可以充分休息迎接隔天的重要簡報。
